Field vegetables experiments: first year assessment and re-designed of IPM solutions

Tuesday, February 5, 2013

The objective of this deliverable is the analysis of different IPM methods mainly weed management and insects biocontrol.

Hereby three different systems, a current, an intermediate and an advanced system were analyzed for the different countries Denmark, France, Germany, Slovenia and The Netherlands. Parallel in these countries and United Kingdom several on-station experiments were set up under the particular growing and climate conditions of each country. With the aim of reducing the dependency of chemical plant protection products and herbicides different innovative IPM solutions were designed and tested for diverse Brassica crops.

In this deliverable an ex-ante assessment of IPM solutions for selected areas in different countries is demonstrated. Also experiments run in 2012 are described.
