New report about IPM solutions for protected vegetables

The working group produces a list of scenarios allowing the highest efficacy of pest control.

The study mainly focuses on beneficials :

·        Generalist predator efficacy (IOR Results)

·        Optimized establishment of Nesidiocoris tenuis against Tuta absoluta (IVIA results)

·        Innovative tools for tomato russet mite control (DLO results)

·        Efficiency of Ocimum basilicum and Dittrichia viscosa as secondary plants for the predatory mirid bug Macrolophus pygmaeus used in biological control of Whiteflies (INRA Sophia Results)

·        Trichogramma achaeae against Tuta absoluta in tomato greenhouse (InVivo AgroSolutions results)

·        Innovative control methods against tuta absoluta (CNR results)

 

It describes other approaches as well:

·        Climate control as an efficient tool for IPM under greenhouses (INRA Sophia Results)

·        Design of a set of decision rules (INRA Alénya Results)
